Vector PDF, DXF and DWGPlan sets upload straight to a private bucket — up to 256 MB, never through a server action. Model space in a DWG is already in real-world units, so there is no scale to get wrong.
Split in the browserPage count, media boxes, title-block text and thumbnails are read as the file lands, so the set is indexed before any worker touches it.
Scale cross-checkedThe title block's scale is checked against a printed dimension string and a 2'–4' door-leaf sanity band. Over 1% apart, the sheet blocks.
No overrideA sheet with an unconfirmed scale carries no marks and the takeoff will not publish while one that does exists. There is no flag around it, in any phase.
Private by defaultPlan sets are third parties' confidential documents, usually under NDA — signed URLs only, never a public link.
